Are councils doing enough to support older people?

As the number of people of pensionable age in the UK now outnumbers the under 16's, the Local Government Channel looks at what local authorities can do to meet the needs of their older communities. Keith Cheesman, programme manager of the Community Well-being team at Essex county council, speaks about the importance of funding services for people who are moving into later life.
