Tony Graham
Precinct Sweeper/Driver, Belfast City Council
Tony Graham joined Belfast City Council in 1994 and works as a roads sweeper/driver for Cleansing Services. Known throughout the council for his hard work and dedication, Tony has helped to improve work practices thanks to his innovative ideas, via the council's staff suggestion scheme. A regular contributor to the Brainwaves scheme, Tony has been an impetus for improvements in his service thereby helping to create a cleaner, healthier environment for the city's residents, workers and visitors. His pioneering ideas have also benefited his colleagues. Despite these successes however, Tony remains humble and takes no reward for his ideas, donating any prizes to a children's charity.
