Sonia Scowcroft
Litter Education Officer
Preston City Council
Since 2003 Sonia has led high profile, successful anti-litter campaigns in Preston. Her superb communication skills ensure that the neighbourhood services team and service users are energised and feel good about keeping Preston clean. Sonia develops professional themed marketing, based on understanding customers via the use of focus groups, surveys, project work and lots of personal communication. This is apparent in the successes of the campaigns, with cigarette related litter, chewing gum, and fast food related litter all having significantly reduced.
