Since 1990 David has undertaken a variety of roles within the authority all linked to his passion for social justice and determination to improve the quality of life for the community. Notable achievements have been introducing the first After School Clubs to the Borough, building a community development programme, leading the Council's Community Forum projects, running adventure playgrounds and community centres, and helping to develop the successful Hertfordshire Interpreting and Translation Service as well as the Dacorum First Credit Union.
