We find out why celebrities and councils want families to spend time together

As the first annual National Family Week kicks off, we speak to the Director of the campaign, Kevin Steele, about how important it is to celebrate family life and how National Family Week gives families the opportunity to spend quality time together at a range of events across the country. This new initiative, backed by everyone from the Prime Minister and the major political parties through to celebrities such as Richard and Judy, is encouraging local councils and organisations to think about how family matters and what they can do to profile their own services to families in the local area.
