Climate Change: Local Authorities on the front line

Cllr Paul Bettison calls for local and national politicians to show leadership

The subject of climate change was high on the list of the LGA's Strategy and Finance Policy Review Group meeting this month. Cllr Paul Bettison, Chair of the Local Government Association's Environment Board, spoke about the importance of local authorities being ready to tackle the issues that will arise as our world warms up.
