John Denham replaces Hazel Blears in cabinet shake up
John Denham will replace Hazel Blears as Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government. Elected as the MP for Southampton & Itchen in 1992, John was appointed to Gordon Brown's first cabinet as Secretary of State for Innovation, Universities and Skills in 2007.
