Lambeth is a culturally diverse London borough which ensures that all its citizens enjoy access to the same opportunities via quality housing and education. ‘Every Child Matters’ in Lambeth, and the authority recently held one of its regular ‘Looked After Children Awards’ to honour children in the council’s care for special achievements. Lambeth’s ‘Lettings First’ initiative works with private landlords to improve access to decent housing stock for everyone in Lambeth who needs it.
