Margaret Montgomery
Senior Graphics Officer, East Lothian Council
Margaret Montgomery recently retired as Senior Graphics Officer with East Lothian Council after more than 35 years service. She started her career as a planning technician in the former County Council's Planning Department, gradually developing her design skills into other areas of the Council's work. Margaret's work has involved designing a wide range of leaflets, posters, books, stationery, display boards, signage and other advertising and promotional materials for almost every Council service, as well as working with a wide range of community groups. As a result, examples of her highly-regarded design work can be found in every town and village, in local libraries, sports and community centres, schools, council offices, shops, local businesses and visitor attractions across the county.
