Brenda Lewis
Youth Worker
Southend-on-Sea Borough Council
Brenda is an outstanding youth worker who works tirelessly to support young people who are carers. She works extremely hard to identify young carers, making countless visits to schools and other organisations speaking to staff and young people as well as delivering a fun-packed activity programme for young carers and vital arranging support groups. Young carers are behind Brenda's nomination. Those who attend the groups Brenda runs say the club gives them a chance to live their own lives.
