George Pothecary
Deputy Community Safety Manager
Southampton City Council
George has been working to improve community safety for local people all his working life, and now has the operational lead on dealing with incidents of Domestic Violence and works with partner agencies. This often involves working with victims at unsocial hours, providing mentoring support and arranging for technical surveillance and installation of alarms. Therefore, in his current role, George continues to work on community safety issues, which remain the number one concern for local people.
